Our love for the outdoors and enjoying nature is what inspired us to start Ambre. This passion has helped us to create long-term partnerships with some amazing people who share the same values as us.

One such relationship is the Outdoor Guide; a free walking resource co-founded by Julia Bradbury and her sister Gina. They set it up to unite practical walking advice with like-minded individuals. They wanted to create a one-stop-shop for all things outdoorsy and six years later that dream has become a reality.

Whether you live in a city or out in the sticks, The Outdoor Guide has suggestions on where to walk and what to take with you. They not only provide advice to those already in the know they also inspire beginners to get outdoors and feel the benefits of nature. It has been shown that being outside, even just for a short period, has a noticeable effect on your mood and overall health.

Part of The Outdoor Guide’s mission is to make the outdoors accessible to all. One of their main projects, AccessTOG, focuses on finding routes and walks which are suitable for wheelchair users. The Waterproof and Wellies project aims to donate outdoor wear to kids who would not otherwise have access to it.  All these projects stem from The Outdoor Guide team’s belief that no one should miss out on experiencing the joys of nature.
